Carolyn's Story

The page was asking about my first car. Well it was a 1955 Ford Fair lane and I love it. two tone blue, 3 speed on the column with over drive. Best care ever. My first new car came in 1969 and it was a 1969 GTO 4 on the floor, 400 with a 4 barrel carb. Ran like a champ but got crummy gas mileage, about 10 mpg but I really loved that car. Salesman tried to talk me into a LeManns rag top said it was the same car as the GTO only this was for girls, I told him I wasn't a "girl" and I want...Expand for more
ed the GTO and someone else to sell it to me. I didn't want him to get the commission from it. Since then I've had about any kind of car you can think of including an 82 Bronco and a 91 Dodge Dakota and a 93 Dodge Caravan. I've had small cars big cars station wagons hatch backs and now at age 63 I have no vehicle at all. I can no longer drive b/c of my balance and vision left bad from a brain tumor but I ride in my sons Ford pu and the Honda mini van so I get everyplace I need to go.
